We’re very excited to announce that we’ve joined a fabulous organization, Celebrating Adoption. Here’s more about it from the web site and the founder, Jenifer Samaha.

‘CA is an organization of photographers dedicated to promoting adoption. Our participating photographers are very different: some shoot with natural light while others use studio light; some prefer posing the subject while others prefer the spontaneity of lifestyle photography; but we all have one thing in common, the desire to celebrate your adoption with you!
What is a Celebrating Adoption session?
If you are an adoptive family and have adopted your child within the last year, you qualify for a Celebrating Adoption session.
You will receive a complimentary portrait session (session fee is waived) and a set of proofs.
***Our volunteers give 100% of their time, talent and goods to do this work. Please do not abuse the organization by scheduling more than one photographer per child or adoption.
How do I schedule a session?
Please contact a participating photographer in your area to discuss scheduling and locations. Each photographer schedules his or her own portrait sessions. Because of the free nature of these sessions, many photographers will need to limit their Celebrating Adoption sessions per month, so call early to plan for your session.’
Due to RWP schedule we can only offer a limited number of sessions. However, we will work to accommodate you whenever possible. If you’d like to schedule a session with us, just drop us a line or give us a call. Also, to learn more about the organization, please visit the web site by clicking the CA image below.
Also, don’t forget we’re also a member of Operation: Love Reunited. You can read more about that fantastic organization here.
It’s such an honor for us to be a member of these organizations. If you’re not in our area, be sure to check out each of the orgs’ web sites to find a participating photographer in your area!

Want to earn $100.00 in studio credits??
Here’s how:
RWP loves referrals! In fact, to a great extent our business is built upon them. To say thank you to our loyal clients, we have created a great rewards program.
It’s simple!
With each print order from a full session, you will receive a set of referral cards. These cards are an easy way for you to send your friends to us for their custom portraiture needs. Give them to your family and friends and remind them to let us know who sent them when they book their appointment. Once five of your friends have completed their session with us, you’ll receive credit for that referral. These cards will be adorned with an image from your session and we’ll give you plenty– even enough to keep one for your scrapbook! But, if you run out of referral cards, no problem! Send your friends anyway, just be sure to have them tell us that you sent them!
Can’t get any easier than that!
You don’t even have to keep up with your referrals. Once you’ve earned your print credit we’ll send you a note to let you know that you’ve got it and you can redeem it with your next portrait session. What’s better, you can earn as many $100.00 credits as you like… there’s no limit to the amount of people you can refer. Your print credits are good for up to six months after you’ve earned them and can go towards ANY of RWP offerings.
The catch?
There really is no catch. We only require that you refer new clients and just one referee per household. Can’t get any easier than that to earn a cool 100 bucks!

Wow, so many I love… it’s hard to choose which to post. Here’s a couple though, don’t want to spoil it too much. ;) Really glad we got out of the studio today.
Will have you guys’ viewing gallery up in a couple days.

I absolutely LOVE her eyes in this shot. Not to mention the lovely little smile.

And she so loved this covered wagon. Very proud of it too, apparently. hehe

RWP has a brand new, sleek site now, coupled with an even better splash page.
I’ve been wanting a new splash page for months now, something me, something different, but couldn’t figure out what I wanted (not to mention I’m not nearly that talented in designing things like this), but it finally all came together!
You’ll have to visit the site to see the new look, but here’s an idea of how awesome it is– the new splash page, designed by my ever so talented and generous friend, Anja (thanks soooooo much, Anja, I absolutely LOVE it!!!):

Though, to get the full effect you really MUST see it large. Just click on the image to be taken there!
In other very exciting news, I am glaucoma free. Not to say I ever had it, I haven’t. But found out today that I don’t, so something to celebrate!
More at six and ten.

Will try to do better. In the mean time, here’s a quick sneak peek. What a doll!

Oh and what the hay, here’s one of me! With my new eyes.

Going to the optometrist again on Saturday for a Glaucoma test. Ocular hypertension, what fun. Who knew? It’s really grand to be able to see again, properly. In fact, I didn’t even realize I was seeing as poorly as I was, until, I got my new specs, that is.
Anyhow, time for bed. Will try to get around to updating more frequently.
